They’re not neat at all, next time they will have to find their own accommodation – Alex Kotei fumes at Ghana referees (Video)
The fitness test for Ghanaian referees ahead of the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League was held at the Baba Yara Sports stadium and about 10 referees failed to pass the test.
The Baba Yara stadium hosted tens of referees for the Southern and the Northern sector referees for the exercise in Kumasi.
Accommodation was provided by the Ghana Football Association as most of the referees who came outside Kumasi had to spend the nights in Kumasi during the exercise.
Referees manager of the Ghana Football Association, Alex Kotei after the fitness test expressed disappointment in the referees who the Association provided accommodation for.
According to the referees’ manager, the referees who spent their nights in the rooms which were provided are very untidy. He bemoaned about how they left the rooms messy.
He added the next time such an exercise will be taking place the Association will not provide accommodation for them again.
