ECG officials allegedly taking bribes to give back electric fuses of owed consumers (Video)

According to the residents of Junkwa Afram in the Central Region, some officials of the Electricity Company of Ghana are taking monies from them after they stormed their town to remove over 200 fuses from various households.

The fuses were reportedly removed by the ECG because of non-payment of their Electricity bill.

The residents however say since electricity was distributed to their community, they have never received a bill until recently when the ECG officials brought some outrageous bills.

Failure to pay the recent bill by the ECG meant your fuse will be removed by the ECG officials.

After removing about 200 electric fuses in the community, the residents alleged that some of the officials of the ECG were giving the fuses back to people who were giving them bribes.
