64-year-old blind woman gets financial support from Kessben Outreach Foundation, starts her dream business (Video)

A 64-year-old woman living at Ekumfi in the Central Region of Ghana has been supported by the Kessben Outreach Foundation to start her own business.

The Kessben Outreach Foundation provided two times what the blind woman requested in her bid to start a trade.

When the Foundation visited the woman who was born blind, she avered that she needed capital to start a trade, something which came as surprise due to her situation.

The 64-year-old blind woman however convinced the foundation that she can trade despite her condition. She was able to identify the various Ghana Cedi denominations.

Auntie Araba 64 yrs hails from Ekumfi in the central region, she was born blind. Doesn’t know any of her parents till date. She also has five kids all blind and do not know who fathered the kids.

One of her sons at cape deaf school in Cape Coast reached out to me to help his mum undertake a trade. I was worried about how possible but when I visited auntie Araba indeed knows every penny in the cedi denomination. I asked Her what she wanted to trade and how much she needed. Her response “ emo,Dokono ne awnwa, 5 million will be ok” .

Through our support, she has received 2 times her request and her excitement, I cannot describe it. In addition to that, she was given enough food items so she won’t spend her working capital.

Times are hard we know but pls do the little things within your power to make someone else smile.
