Kessben Outreach Foundation cuts sod for a GHC580,000.00 school project at Kansaso
The Kessben Outreach Foundation on Monday, 22nd August 2022 cut sod for the reconstruction of the Kansanso D/A basic school in the Asante Akyem North district of the Ashanti region.
The project is estimated at a cost of GHC580,000.00 and is expected to be completed in the next two months.
The Kansanso D/A basic school has been in a deplorable state for over decades. The school has not seen any proper maintenance since it was built in 1985.
After 37 years, the condition of the school building continues to deteriorate.
The school currently has a teaching staff of 8 including the headmaster.
The route to the school has also not been in a good condition as school-going children and the teachers are resorted to walk through a stream and cross to school.
The foundation will also ensure the road network to the school is fixed to a condition which will be more suitable for students and teachers to ply on.
