I was paid 25 cedis for my role in ‘Things We Do For Love’ – Adjetey Anang reveals

Iconic Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang has revealed that he was paid an amount of 25 cedis per episode for his role in the 1999 hit TV series ‘Things We Do For Love’.

Adjetey Anang played the lead character, ‘Pusher’, a streetwise hustler who fell in love with actress Jackie Appiah. He has revealed he was paid 25cedis but said that amount was a huge figure back in the days.

“It was 25 Cedis per episode,” he started. “ That was in 1999.”

He mentioned to Giovani that he was young and reckless, so he could not save a penny from the amount he made.

“It wasn’t that much. I mean, we were students, and the little was okay for us. But then, as of the time, it was more of the passion of being on TV.”
