Calm restored at KNUST after Katanga Unity hall clash (Video)
Calm has been restored at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) following violent clashes between students of the Katanga and Unity Hall after a huge police presence at the campus.
Some of the Unity Hall students apparently refused to allow students of Katanga Hall to use a route in front of their Hall for a procession which led to the clash on Thursday evening.
“Firm control of the situation and investigations are ongoing to arrest those behind what they describe as the unfortunate, needless, and unjustifiable attacks.” The police said in a statement.
Kessben TV caught up with the Head of University Relations at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Noriss Bekoe who threw much light on the unfortunate incident.
