Video: Current state of Baba Yara stadium, now ready to host champions league games
The National sports authority have said that they have completed all renovation works that will make the Baba Yara sports stadium eligible to host CAF games.
CAF apparently notified both Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak that they will be unable to honor their respective African campaign matches at their traditional home grounds due to the inability of the Ghana Football Association [GFA] to submit a report on the inspections done by the association at their venues.
For the Baba Yara stadium, as per the GFA inspection, the Stadium was still going under renovation works to meet the CAF standard.
Few days after the CAF communique, the management of the Baba Yara stadium say, all the needed works have been completed for the stadium to meet the CAF requirement and thus look forward to a late inspection by the CAF inspection team to approve the stadium for CAF games.
Kessben TV took a tour of the facility.
