We Are Breaking The 8 At The Polling Stations Not By The Judiciary – NPP Bono Regional Organizer
Bono Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Evans Afari Gyan Yeboah, says the party will work very hard and put measures in place to secure victory in the 2024 general election.
According to Mr. Evans Afari Gyan Yeboah, unlike the recent trends in Ghana’s election history which has seen election results being challenged at the Supreme Court, the 2024 election will be different.
According to him, the NPP has learnt its lessons following the controversial loss in the 2008, 2012 elections and the decision of the Supreme Court following the election petitions. He also noted the comments of the former EC boss KWADWO AFARI GYAN used to justify the controversial 2012 elections. “ELECTIONS ARE WON AT THE POOLING STATION”
Hence, Mr. Evans Afari Gyan Yeboah has reiterated that the centre of victory in the 2024 general election will be at the polling stations rather than a challenge at the apex court.
The Bono Regional Organizer says he is optimistic that the leadership of the party is capable of reorganizing and mobilizing the people to ‘break the 8’.
He has therefore called on all NPP supporters and the various stakeholders to be vigilant, stand in unity, embrace and welcome all the silent majority, all members who have been neglected in one way or the other, former executives and support the National leadership for a victory in the 2024 general election as the party will be more focused on winning the election on grounds (Polling stations).
Mr. Evans Afari Gyan Yeboah has also called on the opposition NDC to stop dragging the integrity of the judiciary to propaganda politics.
