Young man commits suicide over GHC1,500 debt (Video)
A 22-year-old man who has been identified as Kwabena aka Kwaabee has ended his life in Gomoa Obiri following a debt of GHC1500.
Kessben FM’s reporter in the Gomoa district established that the deceased had been a charcoal seller in Gomoa.
According to him, the late Kwabee started a business with an Accra-based businessman recently, who he had been supplying maize to in Accra
Unfortunately for Kwabee, he went into debt over the maize business as he owed the Accra-based business partner GHC1500.
The inexperienced young man after brooding over the debt around his neck eventually decided to resort to committing suicide.
