inspects Ampabame No. 1 bridge
The Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, Kofi Amankwa-Manu, has inspected the ongoing Ampabame No.1 bridge project.
This is a project the MP, who also doubles as the Deputy Defence Minister, is financing and it connects several communities.
Residents have over the years raised concerns over cut-off communities, especially whenever it rains.
“We have written several petitions on the bridge but none has stemmed the tide until Kofi Amankwa-Manu took over as the MP for the constituency,” a joyous resident told William Evans-Nkum.
Another resident also stated: “He came here during his campaign tour and promised to fix the bridge and true to his word he is doing that.”
The Assembly member for Ampabame No.1, Richard Ofosuhene, said “several communities were cut off anytime it rains, I am happy that the MP has responded to our calls and financing the construction of the bridge”.
Mr Amankwa-Manu assured residents of more developments including improved security.
“I continue to lobby for more project for our constituency. I only need your support and prayers.”
He also donated street lights to the Ampabame No.1 electoral area.
