Be bold and sack your underperforming ministers – Kwabena Agyapong to Akufo Addo (Video)
A Former General Secretary Of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyapong is calling on President Nana Akufo-Addo to clear off the current managers of the economy as he reveals the country is in dangerous times.
Speaking on Kessben Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi (Mr Speaker), the Former Press Secretary to President Kuffour bemoaned of growing hardship in the country which is affecting businesses in the country.
Mr Agyei Agyapong lamented that he sometimes wonders if those around the President managing the Economy are serving the Country or their personal interest. According to him, he believes there is something wrong with the economy as even in the extractive industry we are unable to monitor the actual product as there Big disparities and they also under-declare to the state.
Stressing on the current economic crisis, the NPP Presidential hopeful noted that some serious decisions need to be taken immediately to cushion the economy.
He explained that the President should crack the whip on his appointees as financial experts don’t have confidence in the current state of the economy.
According to him, some people including him will not sit ideal to see some few people damage the party which they have toiled for to be attractive and come to power.
