We will hold our own anniversary for the late Mills on 10th Aug – Atta Mill’s Abuasuapanin
Abusuapanin Kwabena Binney, the head of the clan of the late President Atta Mills family, has said they will be marking the 10th Anniversary of the late president on 10th August 2022.
Speaking on Kessben TV’s Maakye, Abusuapanin Kwabena Binney expressed disappointment over the snub by Government and the Atta Mills institute when they marked the 10th anniversary of the late Mills.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on 24th July laid a wreath at the refurbished ‘Asomdwee Park’ in Accra to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of the late Professor John Evans Atta-Mills, the 3rd President of the Fourth Republic.
The Atta Mills Institute spearheaded by Samuel Koku Anyidoho in a different event also marked the 10th anniversary of the late president without the presence of the late Mills family.
The peaceful man’s anniversary appears to have rather divided the nation.
The Abusuapanin added after having their anniversary marked on 10th August 2022, they will be contemplating the decision to relocate the remains of late Mills from the Asomdwoe park to his hometown.
