3 months Salaries: No money has hit our accounts – Frustrated Kotoko players react (Video)
As reported early in the week that the Asante Kotoko management has cleared all the outstanding arrears of the playing body, some players have reacted to the report.
Kessben TV reported that the management of the club issued a cheque to clear the last three months’ salaries of the players with some outstanding winning bonuses.
The Kessben TV report indicated that the money was to hit the accounts of the player latest by Wednesday but unfortunately, the players in a sharp rebuttal have denied being paid.
As of Wednesday morning, the players expressed disappointment as they claimed the money has still not been reflected in their accounts despite the news going rounds that they have been paid.
Following a report by Kwame Mekke on Kessben TV indicating that the money had hit the accounts of the players, some of the players anonymously called to debunk the report, stressing that the money has still not been reflected in their accounts.
According to further checks, the monies are likely to reflect in the accounts of the players by Friday 5th August 2022 or the following week.
Some of the players per their posture have indicated they won’t join the team to kick starts the 2022-23 pre-season until the money reflects in their accounts.
