NPP Germany Appoints Presidential Candidate Aspirant Joe Ghartey As Patron
The Germany branch of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appointed astute politician and NPP Presidential candidate aspirant, Hon. Joe Ghartey, as its patron.
The appointment comes as Hon. Ghartey’s support base within the NPP for the Presidential candidate position broadens.
Addressing the NPP Germany Branch Executives, Hon. Ghartey expressed his profound gratitude for the appointment and pledged to continue contributing to the growth and sustainability of the NPP.
He recalled his longstanding working relationship with the Germany wing of the NPP.
Hon. Ghartey, a former Attorney General and Minister of Justice has been with the NPP since the 1990s and has supported the party immensely.
Hon Ghartey said he has always resisted the temptation of publicly talking about the support he had given to the Party since it’s formation in 1992.
Joe Ghartey stated that he believes strongly in contributing his quota to the development of the NPP on the quiet.
The Essikado-Ketan Constituency Member of Parliament and former Minister for Railways Development commenting on why he does not show off in public things he does for the NPP, he said “in Christianity, the Bible says what your right hand does let not your left hand sees.”

The Chairman, Dr. Yamoah, seized the occasion to formally invite Hon. Ghartey to a Unity and Development dinner that the NPP Germany branch is organizing on the 1st and 2nd of October 2022. He said the dinner is a fundraising event.
According to him, Hon. Ghartey has been a longstanding associate member of NPP Germany and has always honoured the branch’s invitations to programs in Germany and even on occasions that he could not make to such events, he has always sent someone to represent him.
He said Hon. Ghartey has been very supportive of NPP Germany and recalled that in 2010, Hon Ghartey supervised the Branch elections of Germany in Berlin. He therefore said that the branch deemed it appropriate to honour him by appointing him Patron.
