Bad road: Woman in labour dies and loses baby after motor transporting them failed to cross a broken bridge
It is very sad to be reading about such news in this 21st century as a woman in labour had to pass away in this manner and lose her baby as well.
According to the Husband of the late woman, his wife was being transported from Sekyere Central, Abirem to a hospital near Mampong.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News, the Husband Kwame Boateng narrated that as the wife was being transported to the hospital they got to a bridge where the motorbike carrying the wife failed to cross due to the broken state of the bridge.
The situation of the dilapidated bridge delayed them for over an hour before they eventually got to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the wife was profusely bleeding as she was being transported. Upon reaching the hospital the woman labour lost the battle and passed away after the baby came out.
The baby also passed away the following day according to the father of the baby.
