Hunt For Daily Bread: Young man falls in Galamsey pit and dies (Video)
A young man who has been identified as Kwame Antwi met his untimely death in pursuit of daily bread at a Galamsey site.
According to an eyewitness report, the late Kwame Antwi who was in his middle twenties went to the mining site in Nwenoso number 2 together with his friends.
The report indicates Kwame Antwi slipped and fell in the nearby pit they were working in search of the golden stones.
His friends who he went with put their acts together and retrieved Kwame Antwi from the perilous pit but that was not enough to save him.
Upon reaching the hospital, doctors confirmed him dead before arrival, his body has since been deposited at the Toaso Mortuary.
