Owner of King Faisal FC, Alhaji Karim Grusah chides his players, saying they have disappointed and disgraced themselves (Video)
The Bankroller of King Football club, Alhaji Karim Grusah has described the playing body of the team as a bunch of disgraceful players after the team finished 14th in the recently ended Ghana premier league.
The Kumasi-based football club showed glimpses of a better season in the first 5 games of the 2021-22 Ghana premier league but could not keep up the winning spirit.
The club went on 12 games winless streak in the league which moved King Faisal to the relegation zone.
Alhaji Grusah speaking on Kessben FM’s Extra Time sports expressed disappointment in his players who he expected much from due to their good start.
“We may have to go for new players who are good. Our players are disgraced footballers, in fact, they have disgraced themselves, not me.
You won the first 5 premier league games and along the line failed to win a single game in 12 games. Ask yourself whether they have done well?
For me, I have done enough in football and am quite accomplished so it is left to them” Alhaji stressed.
