Check out the deathtrap bridge on the Atwima Foase RD: Leaders will be waiting for something bad to happen?
Not too long ago, it was reported on Kessben FM’s Breaking News that a tipper truck fell into a ditch resulting in the death of one person and two seriously injured due to an uncompleted bridge which has been a death trap to the drivers plying the road over the last few months in Asanakragwa.
There you go, another deathtrap under-construction bridge which is in the Atwima District in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
Drivers on the road have no other choice than to use the small space. A driver coming from the opposite direction will have to wait for the other to pass or collide and fall into the ditch.
It will be shocking to believe that the authorities in the district have not seen this deathtrap but as usual in Ghana, we will have to wait for something bad to happen before our leaders will put on expensive suits to compensate the families of victims.
In another picture received by Kessben News, it was reported that the below picture has been the current state of a bridge in Suhum Obem electoral area. Apparently, it was not a human bridge but a vehicular bridge which splintered.
