Techiman Eleven Wonders Players boycott training over 4 months of unpaid salaries, threaten to boycott last GPL game(Video)
Players of Ghana’s premier league side, Techiman Eleven Wonders have boycotted training following 4 months of unpaid salaries, Kessben Sports has gathered.
The players insist they are not going to report to training ahead of their last premier league game against Aduana stars in Techiman.
The Techiman-based football club currently has 37 points occupying the 16th position on the premier league table with one game to end the season.
A win for Techiman Eleven Wonders against Aduana on Sunday can move them from the relegation position if Real Tamale United who has 38 points drop a point in their last game.
According to the players, apart from the club owing them 4 months’ salaries, there are also some outstanding bonuses that the club has not paid including even the signing-on fees of some of the players.
The players are demanding that at least, two months of their salaries should be cleared before Sunday’s premier league game with Aduana Stars or they may boycott the last game.
