Pre- Inspection Of Wassa Dunkwa Poly Clinic By MCE And Officials From MOH
On Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 the Municipal Chief Executive for Amenfi West Municipality, Hon Lord Nana Tandoh led a team to access the spate of work on the Polyclinic at Wassa Dunkwa.
The team led by Hon Lord Tandoh comprised of officials from the Ministry of Health, Municipal Health Director, the media and the contractor for the project embarked on an intensive pre inspection tour on a state of the art Polyclinic at Wassa Dunkwa.
The site Engineer together with his team took the team round the facility and briefed them on the progress of work and further assured the delegation of their readiness to officially hand over the facility to the Assembly between July and August in 2022 respectively, he added.
In a brief remarks, Hon Lord Nana Tandoh expressed his utmost satisfaction at the fast pace of progress, it will be recalled that this contract was awarded two years ago to Vamed Engineering and true to their estimated time of completion they have delivered and we commend them for a good job done.
According to the MCE, the yet to be commissioned facility formed part of Nana Akufo-Addo’s government vision to improve and expand the health care system in Ghana for the benefit of all, he mentioned.
He hinted that, the project when completed will lessen the pressure on the Catholic Hospital in Asankrangua since it will be serving all ajoining communities to Wassa Dunkwa, he assured the officials from the Health Ministry of his unflinching commitment to ensure that the facility is highly maintained.
