He is for the foreign market – Ashgold Rejects Asante Kotoko’s bid for top striker Yaw Annor

The Obuasi-based football club has distanced itself from negotiating with any Ghanaian football club, Kessben Sports has gathered.

The Ashgold leading goalscorer has been on the radar of some top premier clubs in Ghana with Asante Kotoko leading the purchasing race.

Ashantigold is however not ready to sit with any Ghana premier league club over the purchase of the top striker.

The Obuasi-based football club is weighing offers from North Africa especially Egypt to be precise.

Despite the immediate position of Ashgold, Asante Kotoko is not giving up to have Yaw Annor augment their team as they prepare for the CAF champions league.

Even though Ashantigold has appealed the GFA decision to demote the club to Division 2, a source has hinted that the club will sell most of its top players at the end of the season.
