Frank Mbella is my typical replacement at Kotoko – Eric Bekoe
Former Asante Kotoko player, Eric Kwabena Bekoe has heaped praises on Asante Kotoko forward Frank Mbella.
The former top scorer of the Kumasi-based football club says he is excited about the exploits of the young Cameroonian player in the Ghana premier league.
Bekoe speaking on Kessben FM’s Final Whistle Sports show with Sir Joe Laka divulged that he sees the young Cameroonian as his typical replacement for Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Eric Bekoe who bagged 17 goals in 23 premier league appearances in 2008 noted that he was happy for the young striker to have equalled his record at the club.
“love Mbella, the day I saw him play, I told myself that I have seen my replacement at Asante Kotoko. I have won Goalking outside Ghana and if a foreigner Mbella comes to Ghana and wins a goal king there is nothing wrong with that” Eric Bekoe said on Kessben TV
