The executives want Mahama & there is no way Kwabena Duffour can become the flagbearer of NDC – Nana Frimpong Ziega

Political Analyst, Nana Frimpong Ziega has stated that Dr. Kwabena Duffour may be doing quite well for the NDC but there is no way the party will give him the nod as the flagbearer of the party in the 2024 elections.

According to the outspoken political analyst, 80% of the NDC folks want former President John Dramani Mahama to become the next flagbearer of the party.

Nana Frimpong noted that the party only sees John Dramani Mahama beating NPP’s Dr. Bawumia or Alan Kyeremateng in the 2024 elections.

“I have said it here a number of times, there is no way Dr. Kwabena Duffour can become the flagbearer of the party under these current executives of the party. The truth is that 80% of them want John Mahama who they believe can win power in 2024”

Since the Kwabena Duffour made his intention known to the party to contest for the flagbearer’s position, he has been faced with some internal opposition in the party’s top hierarchy.
