Kotoko to be given Ghana made medals better in quality than Hearts of Oak’s own
The General Secretary for the Ghana Football Association Prosper Harison Addo has confirmed homemade medals will be provided to the champions of the 2021-22 Ghana premier league, Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
According to him, the homemade medals which samples have been carefully scrutinized are better off in terms of quality than those which were provided to the champions of the league last season.
Proper Harisson Addo speaking in an interview with Sir Joe Laka on Kessben FM/TV’s midfield action noted that the Association decided not to import medals from china this time but to aid promote made in Ghana goods thus giving the contract to a local manufacturer to make the medals.
“This season’s medal will be much more improved than the ones which were given last season. We have been importing medals from china over the years but this year we decided to make a local manufacturer provide us with the medals.
Moreover, when we import from china, it will take 6 weeks to arrive and looking at the samples of the local manufacturer, it was high in quality so we decided to support homemade products which will provide more jobs for Ghanaians” Prosper said.
