Chairman Wontumi has abandoned road projects in Ashanti Region – Hon. Nicholas Amankwah
The member of parliament for Amenfi East, Hon. Nicholas Amankwah has stated that the Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Antwi Bosiako has cast aside his responsibility to ensure the region has good roads.
Following claims by Chairman Wontumi’s aid who is reported to have said his boss used about 1 trillion Ghana cedis to retain his seat, more questions are being asked concerning the development chairman Wontumi has championed in the region.
Hon. Nicholas Amankwah speaking on Kessben TV’s Breaking News with Lawyer Ohene Gyan bemoaned the road situation in his constituency – Amanfi East after learning that the NPP regional chairman allegedly spent 1 trillion to retain his seat.
According to the member of parliament, Wontumi does not care enough thus abandoning the fundamental development the region needs.
