Black Stars: It should be over for Jonathan Mensah & Wakasu, Maybe Jonathan can continue in the MLS – Franko Naro
Sports pundit, Frank Owusu Ansah who is widely known in the media circles as Franko Naro has opined that its about time Black Stars defender, Jonathan Mensah calls it a quit for the Ghana Senior Football team.
Following Jonathan Mensah’s lacklustre performance in the Black Stars’ recent game against Central Africa Republic in the AFCON 2023 Qualifier, Naro believes the Columbus Crew defender should make way for other players.
Frank Naro reacting to the Black Stars’ 1-1 drawn game with the Central Africa Republic expressed disappointment in the performance of the Central defender.
“The way the opponent striker ran passed him in the build-up to their goal was awful. As a central defender, you should have the pace and without the pace, things may not be okay for you.
Maybe he can continue with that in the MLS, but with the Black Stars standard I think it should be over for him, him and Wakasu, if you ask me, they are done” told Joe Laka on Midfield Action.
