‘If You Don’t Have Money in NPP, You Are Useless’ – NDC react to Wontumi spending hugely to retain his seat (Video)
A member of the National Democratic Congress, Bernard Oduro Takyi has described the NPP party as a party for the rich only.
According to the outspoken member of the National Democratic Congress, the NPP party does not give any regard to the poor members of the party.
Bernard Oduro Takyi reacting to the alleged reports that the NPP chairman in the Ashanti Region, Chairman Wontumi spent a whopping 1 trillion Cedis to retain his seat, said “If you don’t have money in NPP, You are useless”
He noted that he wasn’t surprised to have read that Wontumi spent that whopping amount of money only to retain his seat.
Duncan Opoku Boateng, an aid to the Ashanti Regional Chairman, (Chairman Wontumi), apparently stated that his boss spent over ¢1 trillion to win the just-ended regional executive elections which were held in Kumasi last Saturday.
