‘If I work on my fat belly, I can play better than Baba Rahman’ – Ghanaian football fans react after Madagascar game
The Black Stars of Ghana beat Madagascar by 3-0 in their first game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign at the Cape coast stadium.
Ghana came back much better in the second half to score 3 goals following an abysmal performance in the first half.
Kudus Mohammed opened the score by smashing the ball into the net from close range.
Felix Afena-Gyan netted the second goal for Ghana a few minutes after Kudua had opened the score.
Osman Bukari registered his first Ghana goal in the 86th of the game to make 3-0 for the Stars.
Though Ghana won with an emphatic scoreline, some fans of the Black Stars were not happy with the performance of the team.
Many of the fans who spoke on Kessben TV after the game were disappointed in the performance of the players.
One fan from Kumasi stressed that if he works on his big tummy, he can play better than Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman. “The game they played was like Hearts of Oak vrs Aduana, even during my days at the primary school level, I played better than what we saw tonight’ another fan added.
