Guru rates Akufo-Addo gov’t less than 50%
Maradona Yeboah Adjei, known by his stage name Guru, has bemoaned the sorry state of Ghana’s economy and scored the current government less than 50 percent in managing it.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on the 3FM Drive with Giovani, Guru said it is the mercies of God that is carrying the average Ghanaian through the tough times in the face of the hardship.
He said this era has seen the cost of living increasing daily while the minimum wage of an average person keeps dropping.
“The cost of living is very high. People are living above their means but the salaries remain the same,” the Ghanaian rapper said.
Raising the above points, Guru concludes that he will not mark the Akuffo-Addo-led government above 50% if he was to score their performance.
“In their first 4 years, I scored them 60% but they will not get above 50% if I am to score them this time,” he bluntly told Giovani.
