I Prefer Yaw Annor to win the ‘Goal king’ ahead of Cameroonian Mbella – Alex Asamoah (Video)
Former Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold’s SC player, Alex Asamoah has stated he will be excited to see Ashantigold’s forward Yaw Annor win the Goalking of the 2021-22 Ghana premier league.
The forwards of the Ashanti regional clubs have been leading the top scorers’ chart of the Ghana premier league.
After matchday 31 of the Ghana premier league, Frank Mbella is leading the chart with 20 goals with 6 penalties missing 2 while the Yaw Annor has 19 goals with 2 penalties missing none.
The two teams face off at the Len clay sports stadium for an outstanding premier league fixture which was supposed to be played last 2 weeks but due to the GFA’s disciplinary committee’s decision to demote Ashgold to the division 2, the game was postponed.
Alex Asamoah speaking on Kessben FM’s extra time said he would obviously be glad to see Yaw Annor score in Thursday’s game to brighten his chances of winning the Goalking.
