No serious campaign setup will make Abilele & co-lead campaign team – Chairman Wontumi’s campaign manager (Video)

The campaign manager of Chairman Wontumi, Akkins Addai Opoku has emphasised that they were very sure of victory ahead of the NPP chairmanship position for Chairman Wontumi.

Bernard Antwi Boasiako, widely known as Chairman Wontumi successfully retained his seat as the chairman of the party in the Ashanti region by beating his closest contender, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah with over 100 votes.

The man who masterminded chairman Wontumi’s campaign strategy, Akinns speaking on Kessben TV’s Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi noted that they strategically decided to target the delegates but not just irrelevant people who do not have any say in the elections.

“We knew we were going to win. Those talking here and there were not delegates. we decided to target the delegates who have to say in the elections but no irrelevant people” He said.

According to the NPP chairman of the Bosomtwe constituency, what their contenders were doing as part of campaigning using people like Abilele and Kwabena Nyame was ridiculous.
