Album not ready 2 days to elections is a grand scheme to retain Wontumi – Oheneba Kwaku Bawuah
One of the contestants for the NPP Ashanti regional chairmanship position, Oheneba Kofi Bawuah has said that there is a grand scheme by the leadership of the party in the region to retain the incumbent, Antwi Bosiako aka Chairman Wontumi.
Oheneba Kofi Bawuah speaking on Kessben FM’s Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi revealed that with two days left for the elections to be held in the Ashanti region, the voters’ registers haven’t been provided for the necessary scrutiny.
According to him, the voters’ register ought to be available to have ample time for examination before the elections are held.
The delay in releasing the voter’s album he says is a grand scheme by some top brass of the party to ensure Wontumi is retained.
He is demanding that the elections in the Ashanti region should be suspended and delayed for 10 days to have proper checks about the album.
Oheneba warned that if his demands are not met, he will head to court to secure an injunction on the upcoming elections.
