NPP supporters set constituency office ablaze (Video)

Some members of the New Patriotic Party in the Aowin constituency have set the party office ablaze following a back and forth with their party leadership.

Samuel Obeng, the constituency chairman of the party speaking on Kessben FM Breaking News with Nyakoh Abronomah confirmed that the office was set ablaze by some of the irate members of the party.

He noted they had apparently given notice of their disapproval of the recently held constituency executive election.

According to reports established by the Kessben Newsroom, some of the disqualified aspirants of the elections which were held on 30th April 2022 reported the issue to the National level for being wrongly disqualified.

After the official complaint, reports went rife that the national headquarters of the party ordered for the whole elections to be rerun with the inclusion of those who were apparently disqualified by the constituency leadership.

This actually brought some tension among some party folks and their leadership which led to the office being set ablaze.
