Breaking The 8: The Economy Will Be Stable For Sure And Ghanaians Will Have A Different Mindset For The NPP Gov’t – Adams Abuabakari
The Aspiring assistant secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Oti Region, Mr Adams Abuabakari has emphatically stated that government is making arrangements to at least remove some taxes on benchmark value, stabilize dollar in order to reduce the cost of petroleum products that will reduce the high cost of living in the country.
Mr Adams Abubakari speaking exclusively on Kessben news admitted the current economic hardship in the country. He mentioned that, the country within a short period of time has experienced difficulties which as a result of the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war, however the Nana Addo government is doing its best to stabilize the economy despite the challenges it faces.
He therefore stated that with no doubts the Nana Addo gov’t will reduce the cost of living in the country before the end of the year, which will change the mindset of Ghanaians and will enable the NPP gov’t in setting the records by breaking the 8.
Mr. Adams Abubakari reacting to the most talked policy, e-levy, stated that due to the outbreak of the covid-19 and the Russia-Ukraine war, it has impacted negatively to the growth and the economy of the country. He also stated that, to develop the nation, the introduction of taxes contributes greatly to the development therefore every person in the country needs to pay as to when its introduced.
He further said that, majority of Ghanaians are into the digital space, hence it will bring more income to the government if it should focus more on digitalization. He has therefore urged gov’t to focus more on digitalization to get more revenue.
