Nkoranza Clash: Death toll hit 2 as 1 person dies in the clash with Police
One more person has been confirmed dead following a clash between the irate youth of Nkoranza and the police at the Nkoranza.
According to Kessben FM’s reporter in the Bono East, Okatakyie Nine, persons have been injured with 3 in critical condition.
Otakayie in an early report told Kwame Appiah Kubi on Kessben TV that five of the injured persons have been discharged from the hospital.
In a bid to find justice for Albert Akwasi Donkor who was killed by the police, the irate youth attacked the Nkoranza Municipal Police Headquarters and freed at least six suspects who were in the cell.
They planned another protest but had to be called off after they were calmed by the paramount Chief of Nkoranza, Nana Kwame Baffoe IV, who appealed for calm as he assured the support of the traditional council for justice to prevail over the case.
