Western North: Young man murders his biological father with a machete (Video)
A young man in Sewfi Dwenase who has been identified as Tawiah Tekpe assaulted his father with a machete, leaving the father dead.
According to Ama Nyarkoh, Kessben FM’s reporter in the Western North, the victim died on the spot after his 33-year old son butchered him with the machete.
Ama Nyarkoh speaking with Nyarkoh Abronomah on Breaking News narrated that the 33-year-old was in the kitchen preparing food when the unfortunate happened.
She stated that the late father joined the son in the Kitchen to fetch water to bath and the son suddenly pounced on him with the machete.
Grapevine reports in the community have it that the 33-year-old has a mental disorder disease but the family of the Tawiah insist he is normal.
Some of the reports indicate the 33-year-old man began to put on abnormal behaviour after he had returned from Accra a few months ago. It is alleged he went to Accra for money rituals which backfired leading to him being lunatic.
