Director-General of NSA confirms they have still not paid the caterers, security, ambulance for the Ghana Nigeria game in Kumasi
The Director-General of the National Sports Authority, Prof Peter Twumasi has confirmed that some bills from the Ghana vs Nigeria game which was played a month ago at Baba Yara Sports have still not been paid.
Checks by Kessben Sports apparently revealed that the security personnel, the Ambulance, the catering service and other service providers during the game have still not been paid by the NSA.
Reacting to the checks done by Kessben Sports, the director-general conceded they are yet to pay some of the bills from the game due to some delays which are taking through bureaucracy.
According to him, the delays are a result of the process which has to be taken through the appropriate authorities in the Governance before payments are made.
He pleaded with the various stakeholders who have their monies locked for over a month to exercise patience as his outfit works to ensure their monies are paid.
