Akyem Achease: Over 150 NPP members ready to switch to NDC following party internal wrangling (Video)

A number of New Patriotic Party members in Akyem Achease in the Eastern Region of Ghana say they are switching camp to the National Democratic Congress.

According to them, they have been consistently taken for granted by the leadership of the party for quite a long time and can no longer serve the party after recent frustrations with their leadership.

Leader of the NPP youth group, JB Bamfo Amoah speaking with Nyakoh Abronomah on Kessben FM’s Breaking News said the current executives of the party in Akyem Achease have deliberately been disqualifying members who bought forms to contest in the upcoming constituency elections.

JB Bamfo stressed that the current leadership have been dividing and ruling. According to him, the leadership does not appreciate what they do but rather sees most of the party folks to be in alliance with the former Member of parliament of Akyem Achease and therefore are not ready to work with them.
