Sisala West: 2 arrested in connection with NPP Nasara Coordinator assault – Police (Video)

The Sisala West Police command has confirmed that two persons have been arrested in connection with the assault meted out on the NPP Nasara Coordinator in the Sisala West district.

The Nasara coordinator was severely assaulted with machetes by men believed to be members from the camp of one Lamin Majeed who is to contest him for the NPP constituent executives elections.

Chief Inspector Ohene Boateng, speaking with Kwame Appiah Kubi on Kessben Maakye confirmed the two persons have been arrested in line with the assault but noted that they are yet to trace the figurehead of the perpetrators of the act.

He stressed that the identity of the two are currently being shielded to aid the investigation to trace all who were involved in the inhumane act.

The NASARA coordinator who was butchered like meat is currently battling for his life in the hospital receiving treatment.
