Match-fixing: Kotoko CEO opens investigation into RTU game, Some Players and management members fingered
The Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has opened investigations into the 2-1 defeat against Real Tamale United last Sunday over an alleged match-fixing claims, Kessben Sports have gathered.
The CEO is reported to have met the playing body cautioning them prior to the game after having a snippet of information regarding match-fixing claims.
The CEO is highly upset following the result of the game and has initiated steps to investigate the claims that the game might have been compromised.
Some players and management members of the club have been fingered following the allegations.
A couple of other games on the matchday 25 of the Ghana premier league were allegedly rocked with match-fixing claims.
