Those saying my resignation won’t have effect on the NPP should wait until after the 2024 elections – Alan Kyerematen

Former NPP flagbearer aspirant, Alan Kyeremanten has reacted to claims that his resignation would not have any effect on the ruling New Patriotic Party.

Following his resignation from the party ahead of the 2024 elections, many have stressed that it obviously going to have an adverse effect on the party by jeopardizing the party’s chances to win the 2024 general elections.

Meanwhile, some high-ranking members of the NPP party have said that Alan’s break-away from the party would not change anything because the NPP has always remained united.

Speaking on Kessben FM’s Maakye with Akuoko Kwarteng, Alan Kyeremanten said that only time will tell about the effect his move will have on the NPP.

“Something had gone on in the NPP party for a very long time. A hatred crept in from some of the leaders who schemed an agenda for Alan not to become the flagbearer of the party, that’s why I finally resigned. If that way was blocked, I had to find another way.

If those saying my resignation won’t have any effect on the NPP, let’s all wait until after the 2024 elections” He said.
