NPP UK Youth Organiser Hopeful Receives Prestigious Award

On Saturday the 12th March 2022 at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) UK youth forum in Woodgreen London, The Registrar of Scholarship Mr Kingsley Agyemang, presented an award to the party’s UK Youth Organiser hopeful, Mr Ike Price- Asante for being the best youth mobiliser and student recruiter. The Forum which was under the theme: Reinvigorating the Diaspora Youth, sort to energies the youth and was attended by Ghana’s second Lady Mrs Samira Bawumia and other dignitaries Mr. Asenso Boakye MP Bantama, Hon Papa Owusu Ankamma, Justine Kodua and many more.

Presenting the award, Mr Agyemang expressed the secretariat’s gratitude to Ike for his hard work, dedication, commitment, and altruistic diligence to youth activism. The Registrar not only expressed how proud they are of Ike’s work but also encouraged all party functionaries to vote massively for Ike Price-Asante to become the next branch youth organiser to ensure continuity in his invaluable youth work for national good.

Mr Agyemang reminded the party functionaries that should Ike be voted the next Youth organiser of the party, the NPP and Ghana at large will continue to have a vibrant youth front in the diaspora. The Registrar said this is because Ike Price-Asante has an extensive knowledge in youth work and aims to use the platform to create a political space for UK first and second generations born as well as those who migrated into UK at young age.

As his general ambition, Ike is also poised to help the NPP break the 8 so that NPP party can break the cycle of 8 years rule in Ghana the by harnessing talents from UK-based Ghanaian youth to support the party both in UK and Ghana.

UK Party Chairman Mr Derrick Nkansah (Paa Nii ) commended Ike for his invaluable contribution to the party and said Ike is a deserved beneficiary of the award and thanked him for being a good and faithful servant, ”Mo Akoa Pa!!”. Mr Nkansah said he hopes that Ike will be further rewarded with the Youth organisers position so he can continue to share and develop the party’s youth both at branch and national levels.
