Trending pictures of ‘teachers’ uniform’ is for National service personnel? (Video)
Pictures of teachers in uniform have been trending on the Ghana social media space over the last few days with many reports claiming it is new uniform authorized by Ghana Education Service.
The Ghana Education Service has however denied the reports in the local media about authorizing any uniform for their teachers.
Reacting to the claims, Director General of GES, Prof. Akwasi Opoku Amankwa rubbished the report, stating Ghana Education Service is not a mushroom institution that uses social media to authorize a uniform.
Checks by the Kessben Maakye Morning show team indicate the uniform which has been trending on social media is meant for National service personnels who are posted to work with GES.
Just like in Nigeria service personnels have their unique uniforms that identify them, it is believed the brainchild was born out from the Nigerian inspiration.
