8 Qnet Supervisors Arrested in Kumasi
The Municipal Chief Executive of Oforikrom, Hon. Kwame Antwi has confirmed to Kessben TV that about 8 of the supervisors are currently in police custody and are being arraigned to court.
The MCE said the arrest followed after one young man who was recruited into the marketing company made a police report about the activities of Qnet.
According to the young man who reported his ordeal to the police, the supervisors of the Qnet group took Ghc 4000.00 from him with the claim that his money is going to be multiplied when he introduces any new member to the marketing firm.
He said the number of people who they took GHC 4000.00 from each number up to 40.
Hon. Kwame Antwi speaking on Kessben FM with Nyakoh Abronomah stressed that he had to personally ensure that the police arrested all the supervisors of the marketing firm whose office is located in his municipal.
