‘They have attempted in diverse ways to collapse private schools but failed and now marking us down in BECE’ – GNACOPS

The Ghana Association of Private Schools says Ghana Education Service and WAEC are on a deliberate move to collapse private schools in Ghana.

According to the Association, GES in particular in previous years have frustrated them with some policy guidelines which has always put private junior basic schools in a tight corner.

HR of the GNACOPS, Prince Kwaku speaking with Kwame Appiah Kubi on Kessben TV stressed that if the institutions have no policy measure to assist private basic schools, they should not stress them to the point of collapsing private school education.

Prince Kwaku bemoaned about a recent policy that gives 30% first choice allocation to public schools in Senior High School placement.

This according to the GNACOPS is very unfair by GES which is only sought to demean private schools.
