Kotoko should rather lose the GP league title than to lose to Hearts of Oak – Malik Jabir
Asante Kotoko legend, Malik Jabir has shockingly asserted that he will prefer Asante Kotoko to beat Accra Hearts of Oak and lose the Ghana Premier league title than Accra Hearts of Oak to beat Kotoko on Sunday.
The former player of the Kumasi based football club reckons it will be more gut-wrenching for the Phobians to beat them twice in a row.
Hearts of Oak beat Asante Kotoko by 2-1 in the presidential cup which was played at the Accra sports stadium in March 2022.
Prior to that Kotoko had shared the spoils with their bitterest rivals at the Accra Hearts of Oak in the first leg of the ongoing Ghana premier league.
Kotoko currently leads the Ghana premier league table with 49 points after 23 games with Hearts of Oak occupying the 4th position with 36 points.
