GES says they have no motive to collapse private schools but realize their students were getting all the best SHS in Ghana (Video)
The Ghana Education Service has reacted to claims by the Ghana National Association of Private Schools that GES has an Agenda to subside private schools in Ghana.
GNACOPS reckon both GES and WAEC are being discriminatory against private schools in Ghana considering some of the policy guidelines they have instituted in recent years.
They say it is incomprehensible for GES to have allocated 30% 1st choice placement to Public schools over private schools.
Mr. Aboagye Mensah who is in charge of school placement at the Ghana Education Service speaking on Kessben Maakye rubbished claims that the GES implemented the policy to collapse private schools.
He noted that GES realized that the Private schools had most of their students always getting the bests schools in Ghana, therefore, came up with that policy to give a balance where some of the public schools’ students can enrol in some of the grade A senior high schools.
