The Assemblyman of Kofiase in Manpong, Yakubu Issufu says he has nothing against the Municipal Chief Executive of Mampong, Mr. Thomas Appiah Kubi.
Hon. Issufu after so many calls to the authorities to ensure that the deteriorating state of the Kofiase JHS school is fixed went to the forest to cut some trees for woods for the works to begin on the school.
According to the Municipal Chief Executive, Thomas Appiah Kubi, the Assemblyman of Kufiase acted on impudence because the forestry commission had barred anyone to go the forestry reserve.
The Assemblyman however says he did that not to pocket any money but for the development of the school which has been abandoned by the authorities.
After the move by the Assemblyman, the MCE has assured that by next week, works will begin on the depilated school building.
