Constructing 10K Kilometres road not true, that’s why he could not provide evidence – Fmr Road Minister to Akufo-Addo
Former road Minister, Inusah Fuseni has said it can never be true that the Akufo-Addo led Government has constructed 10,000 kilometres of roads since taking office in 2017.
The president during the state of the nation address in Parliament on Wednesday, 30th March, 2022 said his government has so far contrcucted 10,850 kilometres of road in the last five years.
A number of Minority parliamentarians have since challenged the president to support what he said with evidential data.
Hon. Inusah Fuseni who worked as the minister for roads during the erstwhile Mahama administration speaking with Kwame Appiah Kubi on Kessben TV pointed out the president could not provide evidence to support his claim because what he said is not valid.
The former Road minister reiterated that it is even possible to construct 100,000 kilometres of roads but the ministry does not have the resources to match what the president claims his Government has done.
