Akufo Addo has insulted us with the 15 pesewas reduction in fuel prices – True Driver Union threatens increment in fares
According to the True Drivers Union, It is an absolute insult by the president to them to reduce fuel prices by only 15 pesewas.
The Public relations officer of the True Drivers Union, Yaw Berima speaking with Kwasi Ntiamoah on Kessben TV’s Breaking News said they were disappointed in what the finance minister said on Thursday 24th March 2022.
He stressed they were expecting a significant reduction of fuel prices to be announced but not a 15 pesewas reduction.
Yaw underscored that in the last 30 days, there has been an increment of 10 cedis on fuel prices, and if there is to be a slash, 15 pesewas reduction is nothing but an insult.
The PRO indicated that they will also be increasing transportation fares by the end of the month if nothing is done about the fuel situation.
